The wierdest food ever!

A few weeks ago, I was sitting in the school cafeteria having lunch with my friends, when one of them pulled out a bag of Doritos chips. At first, I thought it was just an normal bag of cheesy Doritos chips but a very particular smell came out of that bag of Doritos. It turns out they came out with a cheeseburger flavor doritos chips. I had never tasted that particular flavor of chips before and had never heard anything like it before. I asked my friend if I could try a few and it was just as if the cheeseburger was being made right in my mouth. First the taste of beef , then the taste of cheese, then the taste of pickles, then the taste of onion, then to top it off, the taste of ketchup. I then wondered who's idea it was to invent cheeseburger flavored chips? I haven't yet had the time to persue the answer to that question.

NHL 2010-2011

This year's hockey season looks to be a pretty interesting one. My team of choice is Toronto Maple leaf's arch rival The Montreal Canadien (habs). So far, the habs have won 3 out of their first 5 games this season. By stroke of bad luck, the canadiens lost their opening game against the leafs (3-2) it was a close game though, I think it wasn't fair that they lost the game to the end of period horn.  It had to sound just as the canadiens were in the maple leafs's net ready to tie it up 3-3 but the end of period horn made them lose their chance. On the positive side, the canadiens have won more games than they lost so far, so I still think they have a pretty good chance at the stanley cup. GO HABS GO!

My Greatest Memories as a Student at Saint-Charles Garnier

It Is already the start of the 2010-2011 school year and I'm in the 12th Grade here at Saint-Charles Garnier High School. It seems like just yesterday I was the baby of the school transitioning from elementary school to junior high going into the 7th Grade here at Garnier and already i'm the oldest of the bunch in 12th grade. Of course, with all this time spent here at Garnier I have no choice but to think and reflect on all of my memories of the past 5-6 years at this school. My best memory would be my very first day here at garnier in 7th grade when I was introduced to Steve St-Onge, whom today is my best friend. Another good memory of my years here at Garnier is the 8th Grade Graduation and the transition to High School. It was a very good night, I came to School all dressed up nicely and got to take part in the dance that followed the ceremony. My favorite school activity that I participated in was the ''Réveillethon'' were I got to spend an entire night doing activities in the gym and eat pizza for dinner and bagels and fruit for breakfast in the morning. There was lots to do, play video games, play various sports in the gym and just relax and have a good time with friends. Who could forget AESD, in the 9th grade? it was one of the best times I had competing agaist other schools at different games and competitions to try and bring back the big trophy for our school. At the same time, this allowed me to socialize and meet other students from other schools and make new friends. My favorite class out of all the ones I had so far here at this school is Auto-Mechanics class with M. Paille because all we do in that class was do hands on work on vehicles and you get to know in detail all the mechanisms and stuff that makes your car run smoothly on the road. I actually did'nt mind the ideal of having a school uniform because it made it easier for me to get dressed in the morning because I didn't wake up and spend an hour to decide what I was going to wear everyday, it was one choice only, the red or white and black school uniform.  To Conclude, my years at Saint-Charles Garnier High School where the most interesting and fun-filled years of my life, and I am proud I chose this school.

My favorite Cartoon TV shows of all time.

As any kid would growing up, I like to occaisionally watch cartoons on TV ( yes there is still some kid left in me). My most watched cartoon onTV today is Family Guy. This Cartoon just has too many humerous parts to it. The jokes that are said by certain characters are just too funny. Many of us would agree that the best funny moments on this cartoon all come back to Peter Griffin. Another Cartoon I like to watch on my spare time is Spongebob squarepants and his life under the sea. I also like to watch the scooby-doo cartoons because the cartoon is all about mysteries and how the effort of a special team leads to the answers at the end. I usually watch cartoons when i'm bored on weekends and  there is nothing better playing on TV.

My broken Ipod

I was sitting at the cafeteria today eating my lunch chilling out wanting to listen to music but I just couldn’t get my IPod to work. I was able to listen to the music clearly but I couldn’t tell what song I was listening to because my screen on my IPod was just blank white. I tried banging it on the cafeteria table but the screen just wouldn’t come back. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, it has happened a few times before ever since I accidently forgot it in my pockets and washed it in the washing machine. Luckily I put most of the songs on cd in case this would happen. I guess it’s time I buy a new IPod this one was like 5 years old anyway.

Autoshop project update

This is now day 2 of my auto shop project on my dune buggy.
So far since yesterday, I have accomplished unloading the dune buggy
from the truck, the disassembly of the motor at the back of the dune buggy
and I have now slowly started to peel away the sticky, red paint from around the rust
areas on the metal frame of the dune buggy. Tomorrow is day 6 on my school schedule
this means that I have auto shop class at 2nd period. I like it when auto shop class falls at
2nd period because that period is an hour and fourty-five minutes long which means I get an
extra fourty minutes to work on my dune buggy project. For tomorrow, I plan to continue
peeling off the sticky, red paint off the dune buggy frame and hopefully start on the next
phase of rebuilding this dune buggy, the assembly of the new motor.

Advice for Sara

As a teenager going into adulthood, I know how hard childhood can be.
My first tip for a toddler going into childhood is to be careful on the computer,
To only visit websites those are appropriate for young children and not post personal
Information online.  Another tip would be to stay away from dangerous goods such as
Knives, guns, tobacco and alchool. Finally, take advantage of every moment you possibly can
and get out there and explore the world around you for what it is. I regret wasting everyday I
had off of school and most of my summer holidays on the couch watching TV instead of going
out there and doing exciting things outside the house.
